Can I declare Wednesday to be "Way Back Wednesdays"?  As in, I'm going "into the vault" to find something to share? Or would that just be a lame way to excuse what I'm doing today? 

I can't decide, but I'm going "into the vault" today anyway. Tough day for me on an emotional level so I wanted to post something cute and cheerful. I firmly believe this qualifies as cute and cheerful...to the 10th degree!

Because she is almost as cute as this even today, she gets away with MURDER compared to the other dogs. She has been spoiled from the second we walked out of the breeder's house with her. Even my husband, who was not happy about her coming to our family, ended up being suckered completely by those brown eyes and incredibly sweet face. If you're wondering what she looks like today?  Look up in the banner...that's her on the right.

A little late...but better than never!

I've made the decision to join a 365 photo project in 2009.  One of my 2009 goals is to put more time and effort into my photography passion and the best way to do that is to get the camera out of the bag! I'll be joining in with the other 365'ers over at Scrapbook Graphics.  

I am following the advice of Janet Phillips and her new friends at The Daily Digi today and taking a representative photo of something that took place yesterday, also known as Day 1.  As I'm jumping into this at the last minute, I'm throwing this blog toghether with the intent of coming back to spruce it up and make it my own in the next few days.

New Year's Day 2009 was a low key, laid back holiday for us.  Much like our other holidays. Our everyday lives are so busy that we look for to being able to relax when given the chance. It also gives me time to catch up. 

Laundry has been a real problem for me over the years. Last September, I finally said "Enough!" and came up with a new plan.  For more than 3 months now, I have been in control of our laundry instead of the other way around. I'm still amazed at how much satisfaction I get from having tamed this beast. As 2009 begins, I intend to gain control of other "beasts" that give me heartburn on a daily basis.  This photo is a reminder to myself that I *can* set goals, attain them and maintain them.
