In 2008, I signed up for the "Library of Memories" class at Big Picture Scrapbooking which was developed and is taught by Stacy Julian.
With great enthusiam, I jumped into the class eager to learn something that would help me get a good handle on this hobby of mine. Unfortunately, I didn't last. I'm not even sure exactly how many of the 10 or 12 lessons I actually tackled.
In 2009 as an alumni, I signed up again. It was free for me as an alumni, so why not? Well, I never even opened up the emails that came weekly to announce the next round of instructions, assignments, lessons, etc.
In December, the email came to my inbox announcing that I could join in the fun once again in 2010. I thought about it for a few days and then decided that I *would* attempt this for the third time. Hopefully, the third time is the charm. :)
Lesson #1 has you look through your completed layouts and assign a set of tags to them based on their content. Upon doing that, you're to determine what category of layouts you lack the most. And then do a layout for that category. As I worked on my tagging assignment, I decided that what better image for today than one of my scrapbooks? My layouts are a big old hodge-podge of sizes and types of albums. I gave up chronological scrapping several years ago, even before my first LOM attempt. I also switched to digital scrapbooking, so the styles are vastly different from my early days and Creative Memories!
